Mike is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey.  He is also admitted to the bars of the U.S. Courts for the District of New Jersey, the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Experience:

Before opening his office in 2010, Michael worked as a commercial litigation attorney at two reputable mid-sized New York law firms.  He started his own practice to serve the needs of the small business community with a level of attention that would not be practicable at a large institutional firm.

Memberships and Affiliations:

Mike is a Sustaining Member of LeGaL, the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York.

Since 2012, Mike has been a member of the Judicial Screening Panel of LeGaL, where he has participated in the vetting and interviewing of scores of judicial candidates. He also was LeGaL’s representative to the Independent Judicial Screening Committee of the Bronx Democratic Committee in 2015.

Mike has also participated in numerous pro bono projects for LeGaL, including its walk-in clinic at the LGBT Center on 13th Street. Michael is currently part of the steering group to set up a walk-in legal clinic for LGBT individuals in Newark, New Jersey in cooperation with NJCRI and Rutgers University Law School.

In addition, Mike is a member of the Commercial & Federal Litigation Section of the New York State Bar Association and the Business Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
